They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. Isolation
For centuries, the human race has been at the mercy of deep space. While on Earth, scientists discovered the Ice Age would be occurring much sooner than predicted. They built Arks and jettisoned specified colonies on a direct course for Pluto to escape their frozen fates. Then, the Drax arrived. All of the colonies were destroyed except for one: Canis, the leader of the evacuation. Canis's designated animal was the wolf. We escaped Earth and made it to Pluto, colonized it, made it our new home. They found us again. Only a few survivors live on. My father, the captain and leader, was killed in the attack. My friends survived with me, and we all agree there is only one place we can run. We have to go back. We must return to our home. My name is Mark O'Connor, and I am the last surviving leader of the human race. There is no one else left in command. There's no one to tell me what to do anymore. There are no more others. The worst part is... we're not alone out here.Concluida
The Peacebringer (The Demigod and The Knight)
Rey Dain Sillias, an ordinary human, or so he thought. His life's journey was yet to begin and with it a possible end to the planet known to its former inhabitants as "Quanta." The Earth was dying. Humanity's lust for money and power cost even the thinnest line of hope to break. Natural causes were the main reason, but vampires were the other big problem. If humanity wanted to survive, they had to leave all they knew and with the newest technology, travel to the closest star with hopes to find life. Proxima Centauri b, their only hope. But humans never change. Because of that the history repeats...

Crash Landing
*Book #1 In The Crashing Series* A long time ago, people used to think that Earth would be taken over by aliens. That we would all be destroyed from their advanced technology and uncaring demeanor towards Earthlings and our entire mass population in general. That we would be picked off like mice in a locked maze, all fighting to save ourselves, all trying to get to the cheese that was freedom. But we didn't know that the only thing that would destroy us would inevitably be ourselves. We didn't know that our planet was dying before our very eyes and our countries were at constant war with each other, each fighting for more power. More money. More everything. We didn't know....Until it was too late. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in the year 2655, Earth has been completely demolished by poverty, famine and war, leaving nothing behind but a handful of survivors and most of the population relocated to space stations. Onboard the Celestial, one of the main stations in the galaxies, is 21 year old Mabel "Mae" Minerva. Forced to board the Celestial as a child many years ago along with her younger sister, Mae has always felt out of place in the galaxy, always preferring to spend her time rebuilding old space equipment then seeking the company of other humans. Though when a rumor is spread that her mother may be alive back on Earth, Mae springs into action to steal an armored spacecraft in hopes to save her mother from an unnatural death back on Earth. But when her miscalculations and malfunctioning ship takes her off course, she crash lands on a planet deemed to be uninhabitable. Until she meets an alien who burns hotter then the sun and who knows too much, and too little, about her kind.Concluida
Solarballs irl
Your name is Y/N. After your father left a year ago to go work at a space agency, your mother goes missing, and the SolarBalls planets come to life from your drawing, you wonder how they got there in the first place. The Only
I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. But the more I decintigrated, the more of myself I lost, until everything, my name, Timmy's smile, even my parents were forgotten. I found nothing but black space and white silence. The longer I stayed, however, the more vivid the colors became, and then they began to take shape. After what felt like hours, I was myself again, strapped to a chair with Jesse materializing in front of me. I'm Stasey. When the aliens attacked Earth, myself, my best friend Jesse, and my "friend" Timothy may have been the only people to survive. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. But sometimes things work out differently than we expect, and we have to make the decision: sacrifice ourselves for the ones we love, or the ones we love for the ones we can save.Concluida
True Identity // A Socksfor1 Horror AU
Humans are quite possibly the lowest level of life from what I can tell. They just come and go as they please, destroy what they please, and contain unknown beings like me for "the safety of humanity." Yeah, right. And they're also pretty stupid, judging from how easy it was to break free from those foundation fools holding me captive. And now I'm stuck controlling a human body (that does NOT like to cooperate, mind you) while I complete my final plans for the human race. And if you're wondering... yes, I'm going to murder them all. Starting with this little "Skeld Crew" that I've heard about. Not much, but a start. A start that will strike the fear essence of my true power into the hearts of every human in existence. - Unknown ---------- 541 & Dr Vyllin are the only characters in this I own. In the grip of the Alien

It is a slow burn, but worth it. ~ After a devastating alien invasion leaves Earth in ruins, humanity struggles to survive in isolated zones, clinging to life behind barriers of failing technology. Lena, a skilled engineer with fierce determination, dedicates her life to maintaining what little remains of this protective technology-especially the light posts that keep the Xyvarians at bay. But when a search for medicine pulls her outside the safe zone, she encounters a certain alien. Towering, muscular, and adorned with sharp, curving horns, this alien is a calculated hunter, though his interest in Lena is anything but logical. Drawn to her, he pursues her in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, one that blurs the line between predator and prey. As Lena fights to evade capture, the tension between them ignites into a charged, forbidden attraction that neither can fully understand. He is unlike any alien she's ever faced-Machiavellian, dangerous, unyielding, yet inexplicably captivated by her. Lena, wary and unwilling to surrender, finds herself both repelled and fascinated by the Xyvarian who watches her with a gaze that burns with something far more primal. As she grapples with confusing desires and the disturbing revelation of a breeding program, Lena is forced to question everything-her survival, her humanity, and her heart. ~ (The artwork featured in my cover photo was sourced from Pinterest.
