This was a little short story I had to write for a history assignment when I was thirteen. I plan on one day expanding on it into a proper book but for now I just want to see what everyone thinks.

"You never know what could happen," he would always say. "The night is dangerous. It can swallow you up!"

Piliswa was a princess awaiting a one sided marriage. Being daughter of the great chief, she was expected to be obidient and she was to the most part. However, before the marriage could even be set in stone, Piliswa dissapeared.

 It was during a time when the native people of Africa were kidnapped, brutally treated, shipped across the sea and just before their arrival on South American shores...
