Blessed is a teenage African-American living in troubled times on a distant planet named Xocrara. She was born on, and grew on the planet we know as Earth. She, after 7 years of living as an orphan on Xocrara, has learned the ways and customs of the alien world that she now calls home and is a wanted criminal.

Nuri is a 16 year old boy living on Vachorth 23N. His parents are rich senators and he knows nothing other than the safety of his privileged life. He is the top of his school and suffers severe anxiety. He is vulnerable. The two are polar opposites.

When the galaxy collapses into a cold war, the two are forced to meet, cooperate and rebel.
