In a country where everything is monitored and your every move is recorded, there is one place shrouded in mystery, hidden from the public eye.

The city of Metcalfe has a secret: it coexists alongside a Government-sanctioned area, known simply as Falk, surrounded by sky-high walls, and an impenetrable dome for a roof. No one has ever gone in, and no one has ever come out.

Until one fateful night, when a bloodied, beautiful boy emerges from the woods surrounding Falk, and Metcalfe finds itself on the country's most watched list.
