Ryan's Trail

Allison Gardner is your typical 22 year old woman. Having grown up in a family with parents that were complete opposites, she had only her twin brother James for company. Allison learned to make friends where it mattered, and learn how to live in a world that demanded hard work for what you wanted.
Seven years after her parents' divorce, she is working at her father's law office as a business consultant/accountant. She has a descent salary, a few friends, and she is engaged to Parker Sampson, the son of her dad's partner. You would think that Allison would be happy with her life. But she's not; she is lonelier than ever.
Hoping that spending some time away will help, she goes to Bear Lake for her mother's birthday, but things take a turn for the worse when an argument starts up between Allison and her nature focused mother. Allison leaves during the night, not wanting to be there any longer, she leaves to head home. She won't make it.
After running her car over the side of the mountain and crashing at the bottom, she finds herself stuck with a broken leg and a concussion, and then she meets Ryan; A boy who has been living in the woods around bear lake since he was ten. He can barely speak, has no manner's, and yet Allison can't help but be drawn to him, and though she wants' nothing more than to go home, she can't help but wonder what life with Ryan would be like. Is Allison safe in the woods? Will she stay with Ryan? Or will she return to her life in the city?
