There were three things Parker remembered about that night past the stink of cheap booze and the smoke that curled hazy in the air. What he couldn't seem to remember however, was what came after. All he knew for sure was that it changed everything.

After that night, Parker finds himself tangled in the midst of a brutal tug of war.

On one side, he's being hunted by an association that exists solely to eradicate everything Parker has become and will stop at nothing to reach that goal. On the other side, he finds himself in the care of a strange group of misfits who seem to appreciate him much more when he's alive.

The Darkness of Beasts and Men by DarkLightningThunder

This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. All characters' names and characteristics and fiction, I did not take them directly off somebody, so in cases of coincidence where you or someone you know looks like a character, my apologies, but I swear I didn't look up people and write their description. She stumbled to the ground, wiping blood off her lips, grinning as she was lifted up, dangling by his canine teeth. "That's more like it" She murmured. The adrenaline, the fight, it felt like living again. He hesitated for a moment, a look of confusion and disgust flashed past his blue eyes then she felt his grip loosen as he fell back on the floor. A knife was close to his neck as a shadow appeared from the side. Ah the fun police has arrived, Crowley thought to herself and sighed.
