The year is 1940 in Warsaw, Poland. It is a bad time to be a Jew, as fourteen year old Leaven Balick soon learns. She lives in the Ghettos, where Nazis threaten death at every move and people disappear on a whim. With her only possessions being a diary and an indigo scarf, she feels alone and isolated until she meets Derek Rolf, a boy her age who is the son and nephew of Nazi officials. Derek, who is largely shielded from the Jews around him, feels suddenly attracted to this girl with the strange star on her arm. As the months wear on, Leaven and Derek form a forbidden love, until one day the unthinkable happens: Leaven and her family are selected to work at a concentration camp.

Jemily x Reader Story Emily Prentiss and Jennifer Jareau have been dating for a year. After working together for years, one night after a difficult case finally brought the two women together. Now they live in an apartment together and try to make friends with the nice couple next door. The shy Y/N in particular caught the attention of the two FBI agents. They would like to know more about the Woman next door. Why is she always so quiet and almost seems scared? Why is it so rare to see her without her girlfriend? Why is she so secretive when it comes to her private life? Can they lure the shy woman out of her shell? And what will come of it, friendship or something more? And why does Emily have such a strange gut feeling about the girlfriend? I'm writing this story from the first person perspective. I use the pronouns she/her for Y/N, if you would like something different, let me know. English is not my first language, so please be gracious. This story covers typical case-based topics such as murder (not clearly described), domestic abuse, violence. Also mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm and suicide attempt/thoughts. Please don't read this story if it triggers you. The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. Oskar feels attracted to boys but still doesn't admit to himself that he might be gay and generally is in denial. What will happen between them- friendship, love, hatred? Maybe nothing? The future will tell...
