The two Princes looked at the council members as if they had been told that they knew how to make pigs fly. Matt was the first to say something,"So, what you mean to tell us is that the girl lying close to death on that bed, is of Valerian blood?" He paused to let the council member's reactions hoping that they would understand how crazy the three men sounded. "I think you may be mistaken, the girl of which you speak does not even have a bonded."
The white haired councilman smiled cheekily before he walked towards Torean's body and lofted her index finger where a ring was,"And what do you think this is?" The man asked the two brothers.
Mikkel rolled his eyes at this,"Do you gink so lowly of us that you would think that we would not know what a ring is?"
"Look closer,"
Sure enough, what looked like a ring was the body of a small black dragon that coiled around the girl's index finger. Upon closer inspection they noticed that what they thought was the black metal band of the ring was actually a metallic looking scaly skin.
That's when the reality of the situation sunk in, the two were going to lose their soul-mate.

The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. "How much do you need?" Lord Kayden's voice asked. "Just a million dollars" Kevin shrugged as if it was just a small amount. "And how soon do you plan to pay it back." While watching the movie and reading the books, a YouTube video discussing how plot twists and different character arcs could have improved the movie sparked some scenes and debates among us in the book club. So my friend and I decided to rewrite the movie with some better plot twists. This was thought of in a car after escaping an awkward dinner. Fair warning, we lost some brain cells along the way and jumped off the diving board and lost the plot. This book is an adventure that made me cry and throw my phone. Enjoy. "You are a monster, Cam," I rasped, my voice thick with loathing. The truth of it vibrated in my bones. "Perhaps," he'd conceded, a chilling smile touching his lips. "But at least I'm an honest one. And I'm willing to do what's necessary." Luce, a faint, almost imperceptible scoff escaping me. "Gabby?" I repeated, as if the idea was ludicrous. "Gabby and I aren't together. Never have been." Luce stared at me, stunned. "But... I saw her kiss you." I merely shrugged, a hint of something cynical in my eyes. "People do stupid things at parties. Doesn't mean anything." "Quite a show, Price," he said, his voice low, almost a purr. "Lucky you had Daniel to catch you, huh?" The subtle emphasis on 'Daniel' was not lost on Luce.

Nothing in my life had ever made sense.
