After Sector Zero's research stations and other things failed, Alterra has sent around forty or so scientists to the Aurora's Crater, where the Aurora crashed around seven years ago. The goal of the researchers is to find out more about the planet's history, and research the fauna and flora that inhabit the Aurora's Crater.
