Imagine being given the gift of sight; the ability to peer into the world beyond, where the souls of the dead walk. Lingering in the very place you live, roaming amongst the streets of your hometown...Shades of a time long past and only you can see them. Such is the life of Anima, a young woman belonging to a race known as the Seers. She is literally one of a kind, being the last of the ones who can speak with the deceased. Though her kind was eliminated one by one and forced her to hiding, she continues to use her gift. Not only can she see the souls of the dearly departed, but she can view their complete memories; visions of the past. With journal in hand, she records all that she encounters, hoping the past will aid her in her present struggles. Follow Anima as she witnesses the memories of a free-spirited wolf demon, a tempermental demon king, a noble knight, a gentle young girl, an unfortunate author, a murderous thief, and more.

When Ari touches a cursed artifact and becomes possessed by a powerful spell, he must find a way to control it or risk losing himself and the half-vampire he loves. ***** Aristotle Lorenfield knows he's unusual. He lives in a museum of haunted objects, studies ancient magics, and is unapologetically asexual. He's used to being alone and doesn't want anything more. Then, one day, his archeologist uncle sends him a mysterious artifact in the mail, thrusting Ari into a world of real magic, necromantic cults, supernatural beings, and dangerous secrets. Torn from the comfort of his solitude, Ari must face the pain in his past, and the truth in himself, if he hopes to survive and save the man he's come to love - but the greatest dangers lie closer to home than he thinks.
