Evelyn was supposed to be embracing her life to come, not saying goodbye to it. But sometimes fate has other plans.

The night of Evelyn's farewell party, everything goes wrong. One instant she's alive and surrounded by the people who love her, and the next - she's dead.

The afterlife is unlike anything she could ever picture it to be. Her only companion is a tormented and temperamental soul who calls himself Adrian, and she's stuck with him as her soul is stuck in limbo.

Entangled in a plot much bigger than the two of them, Evelyn and Adrian must scramble to find answers. If they fail, Evelyn will fade to nothing, and cease from existence; just like the last doomed girl before her.

Dead!

66 parts Complete

When Ivy Livingston woke up on a normal Wednesday morning in November, she didn't know that was the last time she would see her little sister, her cat, or her best friend Chloe. She had no idea that Anthony Wilson, the freak that she had been bullying since middle school, would bring his father's rifle to school and kill Ivy and four of her classmates before pressing the gun to his own skull. And she definitely couldn't predict that the afterlife was no more than a simple waiting room, where she would wait while the Celestial Bureaucracy decided whether she would go to Heaven or Hell. Ivy already knows that this isn't going to be easy. She's a borderline case, so it might take a while for the panel of judges to make their decision. She just hopes that she doesn't end up like that guy who's still waiting for his number to be called after two hundred years. However, as Ivy begins to make friends with a hockey lover and a girl who was so emo that she fell apart, she begins to think that maybe, just maybe, she can redeem herself. 2nd Place in Teen Fiction in the Whirlwind Awards. 3rd Place in Teen Fiction in the Mystique Awards and in the Prism Awards.
