Nightmares.

That's what Eddie gets every night. His friends ignore it like it doesn't even happen.

Nightmares.

He is drowning in them. Their waters filling his lungs and stinging his eyes. The there were the roses. The roses that smelled like your favorite things, looking so beautiful and soft. But one touch and they stabbed his fingers, their poison rushing to his heart and burning it.

Nightmares.

And there was no one that could save him.
