"Dont leave. Please," she whispered. "I feel so alone." 

And so he joined her as they cuddled on her bed, sharing nothing but silence. He held her carefully in his arms as her head rested upon his chest; he was afraid she was going to break and she was afraid he would disappear. And the night stretched on without any sleep. Just aching hearts and broken people. And perhaps, just perhaps, they were capable of loving people who love them back.
