It has been five years of the constant yelling. The bruising. The sadness, anger, and hurt. And I am sick of it. I can't stop it from happening, though I wish I could just put it behind me. Every day, he wakes up drunk, he threatens, hits, and does stuff to me I loathe, and then he sleeps drunk, waking up to only do the same thing to me he did the night before. This has been going on ever since mum died from an illness we still haven't figured out. Five years of abuse, and she's been gone.
