To save the world from the literal Biblical Apocalypse, Hunters Dean and Sam Winchester had teamed up with the, unknowingly, daughter of Michael, a powerful Nephilim who struggled to grasp her powers in order to defeat both Lucifer and Michael. During the year of consistent death and heartache, Dean Winchester managed to fall in love with Cassandra Moore...only to have her ripped away from him in the midst of locking Lucifer away for what they thought was forever.

Six years on Earth, and seven-hundred-forty in the Cage in Hell, later, Cassandra Moore finds that she's been freed from the Cage but she wasn't the only one. Reunited with the Winchesters and who they assume is Castiel, she readjusts back into her new-old life to help defeat The Darkness. 

But what if the Cassandra Moore that Dean lost wasn't the Cassandra Moore he pulled out? What if he pulled out something much worse than any monster they've ever faced?

This excuse wasn't even a good excuse, but this did start out as just a short drabble with no connection to SPN. (It and we have come so far). Also, this is a whole new Jessica and not even remotely related to the other Jessica...the one who's dead. We don't own Supernatural it belongs to the wonderful people at Warner Brothers and the CW, except for the OCs. This has been in the works for a few years now and I'm so glad to say that we are finally publishing so thank you and enjoy!

After losing his mother and his best friend, Dean found himself in a very dark place, unable to share Sam's stubborn hope that Mary might be alive and refusing to mourn Castiel. He's been stuck between trying to cope with their losses, with the aid of unhealthy amounts of alcohol, and being unable to hold back his anger issues, of which Sam and Jack have become the unlucky main targets. The reunion with the angel, while, on one hand, shines a fresh ray of hope on the boys' path, on the other puts a spotlight on the mistakes made in the previous weeks and brings up issues that have been ignored and avoided for too long. Cas is determined to reconnect with Jack and try to fix the relationship between Dean and the nephilim, together with helping his best friend to heal. This assuming that he can get through the older hunter first. Because getting Dean Winchester to talk about his feelings can turn out to be as hard as stopping the umpteenth apocalypse. Could a possible, spooky-looking case offer the chance to break the impasse?
