Verolina Walburg is an innocent 14 year old girl. Except for the fact that she's now an orphan, living in the woods with other teenagers who are fighting for their lives. She must either kill or be killed by those who have Turned. But soon she finds that she's not as different from those who purse her in blood lust. Throughout her journey of what she thinks is pure survival, Verolina finds out things about herself and her family's past that turn her into something even she doesn't recognize any longer. Her biggest worry is not her survival anymore; it's the question of whether she should fight her destiny, or give in to the blood that runs through her veins. "If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book." ~Lemony Snicket (The Bad Beginning)

She has tried every tourist attraction but life is starting to bore her. She has a side that no one knows about. She is a murderer. Or a murderer in the works. Lucia has a lust for blood and is ready to make her mark no matter the outcome. Intended to be a short story in the POV of the murderer herself.
