In the year 2022, humanity has finally created a complete virtual environment known as Sword Art Online, or SAO for short.
It was created by Kayaba Akihiko, the development director of the Argues Company. Over 10,000 copies of NerveGear and SAO disc were produced and sold.
One of the copies is at the hands of a 16 year old teenager name Ben Tennyson. He was thrilled and excited of having it, however, it's soon disappear as he and 10,000 players are now trap inside the game.
This is no longer a game it's now a death game where players dies in real life. Can Ben not only survive in this new reality he got himself into? And will Ben able to help the other trap players?

This is an AU Ben so expect some differences. Also some the mobs and boss of the SAO will be Ben's aliens and foes.

This is a retelling of my least favorite arc in, "Sword Art Online," which is the, "Fairy Dance Arc." I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Sword Art Online x Pro/Op male reader: The Gamer hero
Sword Art Online have been released to the public and a lot of people who bought the game enjoy a open world game where they fight monsters, gather gears and XP's and becoming the best players they can ever be. One of these Players is named Y/n L/n who has played many games and is shown to be a Pro in a lot of games. He is also well respected by everyone who played with him and rather help out players who have trouble of the game then mock them, he is shown to be the best and get exited when he bought the game. However the creator of Sword Art Online "Akihiko Kayaba" revealed that everyone is trapped in the game unless they reach the final boss. Every players went into chaos after that and some given up hope while some accepted their fates in their new home. However not Y/n as he desire to get every players out of the game and bring them home. Little did he know that his action will lead to him of saving humanity and becoming the greatest gamer hero ever lived.

The Sword Art Online incident of 2022 shook the world. For the first time, someone had successfully weaponised video games, and virtual reality. World leaders in the fields, and just world leaders scrambled to find a solution... None of which was of any comfort to the 10,000 people already in the game. Especially not the ''bloody fool of an Englishman'' who'd gone into the game for escapism from his new life in Japan. So, what happens when said ''bloody fool'' decides to fight his way through the death game? Let's find out, shall we! One in particular stood out from its peers, an upcoming game called "Sword Art Online" that attracted the attention of millions; yet, only 10,000 copies have been sold. What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. The Spectre Of Light (SAO x OC)
After a portal saved him last minute from his own attack, MK Light was forcibly teleported to a world he had never seen before. Saved by a pair of siblings, he now has to deal with two new realities; one of them being a game of life and death... Note: MK Light is NOT replacing the canon main character, unlike other stories. (What this means is that Kirito is still relevant.) Those who copy = Block, no warnings This SAO spinoff will NOT follow the canon timeline during specific events (i.e. LC raid) or with specific characters (i.e. Kyouji Shinkawa) Profanity is used in this story. There are direct references in this story not only to SAO, but also others like DBZ for example. Regarding a specific tag that doesn't SEEM to belong there, he makes an appearance as an actual character, but as a side character later in the story. Regarding another tag, an attack from that series is performed in the prologue. Other attacks will be performed in Alicization with the exception of one specific technique that is seen every now and then. Regarding ANOTHER tag, TWO of the characters eventually learn a type of magic, MK Light being one of them. His eyes are also a direct reference to the (fake) final boss of a certain path in this game. Regarding one last tag, MK Light pulls THAT stunt due to his will to live. (I put another tag lol) Regarding that one tag, one of the games from that series has quite a significant influence on MK Light's weapons in GGO.

Kirito and I collapse out of breath, the sign above us screams 'Winner' as he defeated the boss of floor 11. "We did it." I say in between breaths. "Yeah.. well done." Kirito replies as he sat up.
