This is a story about a girl named Tara West. she had lived most of her life normal, until her former ex boyfriend Derek comes back into town. She never told anyone about him, not even her new boyfriend Adam. Tara's world was about to be turned upside down. Will Tara survive or will everything be taken from her?

Who writes letters anymore? I opened it up and saw the handwriting and recognized it right away. It was Derek's, Derek Gray. The boy who stole my heart the moment I saw him and who still has it even if I'm with Adam. I was deeply in love with Derek but he moved away freshmen year due to his dad getting a job in London. So his whole family moved, and my heart was broken during that summer.

I looked at the letter and started reading it.
