What will hopefully be a better rendition of Meta's Tale, which has needed a reboot for some time now. Updates will most likely be sparse, as the series in Project Genesis that kinda derailed Meta's Tale (completely my fault) needs to be finished before I can actually know what facts go where in some of the later chapters. Also, I hope to have longer chapters, considering some of the original's, now three years old, were under 1000 words. Very sad. No wonder it had so many, eh?

It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. This separate entry exists for the purpose of the story's re-write (to fix typos, correct spelling, make names more consistent, etc), but also to preserve the comments from the older entry, and for the purpose of chapter consolidation (Wattpad has a limit of 200, and the main entry is already at 146). Original release: 2020 Two paths stretch before Jora as he awakens in the hospital without memory nor any known records: on one, a doctor wishes to help him recover his memory; on the other, a scientist wishes to do the same. However, on their quest for the truth, not everybody has his well-being in mind as they discover the reality of his situation puts their own goals in danger. A combination of Science Fiction and Fantasy that embraces the bizarre, and is wrapped in mystery with some aspects of horror. 2020 Author's Notes are available in the comments. I highly recommend reading the chapters first! 2024 Author's Note: This story has been cancelled, and is due to be rewritten. Many aspects may likely change in the future, though. I originally took down this story because I disliked the universe I'd set up as well as the execution of the story itself, and intended on doing a reimagining. That second take came and went, burning myself out over struggles to pace it well thanks to its highly unusual and experimental structure. This story was also taken down to prevent some of the events that occurred later in it from spoiling the latter parts of "Redwater Riot." That said, I feel like it would be a good idea to rerelease this story as a sort of museum work, a way to look at what my writing was back then and how it has changed over time. I don't intend on finishing "Polaris Garden," though I do intend on a rewrite in a later "Imperial Reach: Awakening." Something much closer to what this was than what I'd done before.
