Ruth Lee Jones was a born to be Hufflepuff. Sure, she had her own Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor moments, but her heart and soul and mindset was 99.9% Hufflepuff. The 0.1% changed on a regular basis.
It's time for Ruth to go to Hogwarts for her first year, and she couldn't be more excited, zoned out, and grumpy. It doesn't help the fact that the first kid she meets turns out to be Draco Malfoy and they meet the worst way. Draco wants nothing to do with little Hufflepuff Ruth and makes that perfectly clear to her. Only, Ruth doesn't know that. She's convinced Draco is her best friend. It doesn't help the fact that as much as Draco tries t stay away from her, he always ends up spending every second with her.
Not to mention Ruth as a knack for getting into trouble. Draco, being the kind young man he is, decides to look after her, but makes it clear he is not her friend, will not ever be nice to her, and in public will act like he doesn't know her. But the more danger Ruth gets herself into, the more Draco can't deny the fact that he does care about her. Which freaks him out.
But the danger, though starting off small, becomes more than either can handle. When a threat arises, will Draco realize his feelings for Ruth? Or will Ruth dig a hole too deep for Draco to pull her out from?
(This book was not mostly my own idea by J.K. Rowling's. I have only changed the plot and added a few characters, but everything is her's and her's only.)
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
