Aoi Nakahara's life is full of hardship and suffering. Everything changes when a disaster hits her town, killing many people. As she faces what seems to be her final moments, a bright light appears and then suddenly stops, freezing everything around her.
A shining red stone appears, and a mysterious woman from the stone offers Aoi a chance to change her life. Though Aoi is doubtful at first, she agrees to the deal and takes on a new mission. Her task is to find out who is responsible for the death of the heiress and to take on the role of Temporary Heiress.
