Clair Booker is a simple woman; go to work, go home, shop, and repeat. But now people are being found dead, drained of blood and mutilated, and many have told of winged creatures in the night.
Clair has been fortunate not to end up like the victims, but not fortunate enough when angels show up to her workplace and she comes into contact with Drake Wellington, a man who asks for her help to put an end to a potential war.
