Emma has a semi-normal life but when she's attacked by her best friend, her world is thrown into chaos. A mysterious (and cute) guy saves her and tells her the unbelievable, he's a reaper. When faced with the option of dying or following this mystery man to a school in another country, she chooses life. Now, being guided a seemingly cold reaper, making new friends, and gaining a sword with a dark secret, she must of make sense her new life. But, is this mysterious man hiding more that a kind heart?
