Love Hate

In the halls of their high school, Aaron Thompson and Theo Miller are known for their heated arguments and constant bickering. Ever since elementary school, they've been arch-rivals, seemingly unable to stand each other's presence. But beneath the surface, there's a secret Theo has been hiding for years - he's hopelessly in love with Aaron. As their senior year progresses, tensions between the two reach an all-time high. However, when circumstances force them to work together on a school project, Theo just cannot contain himself anymore. In a moment of impulse, he takes a bold step that will forever change their relationship, revealing a secret he's kept hidden for years. Caught off guard by the incident and his growing feelings for Theo, Aaron finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew about their relationship. As Theo's secret comes to light, Aaron must confront his own prejudices and insecurities, forcing both of them to reevaluate their feelings and the true nature of their connection. In the midst of high school drama and societal expectations, Aaron and Theo find themselves on a journey of self-discovery, learning to overcome their status as enemies and embrace the love that has been quietly growing between them all along. *This originated as a short story in my book Short Stories (BxB) if you'd like to read the original!
