I jerked my head to the right, my eyes bulging huge as I heard a loud howl vibrate the very ground I stood upon.
The howl was close. Very. Very. Close. It didn’t sound like a normal wolf that lurked the woods. Wolves never came this near to the roads, or to people around here for that matter.

Shit. I hopped on my bike and I started it and I drove off. As I was zooming down the street I saw a wolf in the middle of the road I was going to fast I pressed on my breaks but I wasn't going to stop in time so I swerved off the road. I have never felt so close and yet so far away from anything before. I could hear people yelling, they noticed I was gone. I have been locked up for so long I forgot what the forest felt like.
