I jerked my head to the right, my eyes bulging huge as I heard a loud howl vibrate the very ground I stood upon. 

The howl was close. Very. Very. Close. It didn’t sound like a normal wolf that lurked the woods. Wolves never came this near to the roads, or to people around here for that matter.

I slowly backed up, hurriedly walking quickly away as my legs moved faster, into a running pace. 

I came to a sudden halt. 

There was a wolf right in front of me sitting there, licking its paw casually. 

I spin around slowly, only to come nose to nose to another wolf. This one was bigger than the other, but as I quickly noticed, these weren’t ordinary wolves. In fact, they were much, MUCH, bigger.

I felt a heated breath on the back of my neck as I realized the wolf that was casually licking its paw graze its teeth across my neck as I shudder in pure fear.

“What do you want from me?” I whisper as I choke out, scared to death that I was about to die. The worst part was, I KNEW I was about to die.All Rights Reserved
