SILENT PLAY
High school isn't a stage - but sometimes, the quietest plays are the ones that leave the deepest marks.
Reggie Mantle has always been loud. Loud on the field. Loud in the halls. Loud when he picks on Kevin Keller, Riverdale High's openly gay golden boy. But behind the teasing and taunts lies something twisted and repressed - a feeling Reggie can't name without losing control. One stolen kiss shatters everything, leaving Kevin shaken and Reggie desperate. Now Reggie's chasing something he might've already broken beyond repair.
And watching it all from the sidelines - but never truly apart - is Jughead Jones. Detached. Sarcastic. Observant. He narrates the chaos like it's just another story, but even he can't write off what's happening between him and Archie Andrews. They flirt like it's nothing, joke like it's safe - but Archie wants more. The only problem? He thinks Jughead doesn't.
Two stories unravel side by side: one bruised by aggression, the other stalled by silence. And through it all, Jughead keeps writing... not knowing this time, he's a character too.
