Harpies are a mythological creature said to have the head,arms, and legs of a human. They have wings that either have
feathers or no feathers. The mid-elbow fades into the arm of a bird, same with the knees. This story is about Raven, a harpy living in the wild Ireland. Describing the new friends she meets along the story,and the new enemies she meets too.

Every Winged has a separate Clan that they can belong to. Some examples are the Eagle Clan, the Raven Clan, the Butterfly Clan, and the Crow Clan. The humans fear that the Winged will try to control the ground as well. But the Winged have no such plans, they are content to stay where they are, building a new lifestyle. When Dove is shipped off to the sanctuary, a "home" for mythical creatures, aka Morphs, She doesn't know why she turned into a harpy when she was younger. What she does know, however, is that someone has kidnapped her and forced her to fight to the death in an arena, with everyone fighting for one prize. Freedom. The Blade and The Bird
She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. She'd take an axe out into the forest and pretend to fight off monsters, the terrifying Mystics that her grandmother had told her stories about. She'd pretend to fight Lycans, knocking out their massive teeth one by one. She'd stand atop rocks and throw her axe at the trees, pretending they were wood nymphs come to steal her away. She'd always return home and tell Selene about the monsters she'd fought that day, spinning together a story of courage and bravery for her little sister. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone. Her parents had been gone for years, her grandmother, and now even Selene was missing somewhere. She needed to find her sister, she couldn't lose the last bit of her family. **Complete
A Harpy's Embrace
A romantic fantasy novel - Male human x female harpy; I wanted to create a credible plot that focuses not only on romance but also on good storytelling and world-building. The story is full of twists, the true romance doesn't start right away. I created a credible and beautiful world to indulge yourself into, hopefully providing immersion. The love between the two main characters is platonic and wholesome when it does finally occur. Each part has around 2000 words (=12000 characters), taking 15 minutes to read on average.
