In a universe full of people, all of them are planets, and stars, and moons and comets and asteroids. They all have their own gravitational fields that pull people in and push them away. Loner's defy gravity by staying away from people and dodging gravitational fields. This is a collection of short stories about loners who successfully defied gravity, or are slowly getting pulled into it again.

U.S.S.A. Alice
In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. Space was ripe for the picking. Now mankind and the enigmatic Voidrians formed the U.S.S.A. The (United Solar Systems Alliance). Before Mankind became the dominant force in the Milky Way, Earth was in shambles. Natural resources were nearly depleted, diseases were rampant and most of Earth's population was in poverty. Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization was built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.Concluida

A collection of short stories centering around a kid named Sammy and a few of his friends, not so good friends, and straight up enemies. It's 50% simple vibes, and 50% teenage angst. I didn't know what I was doing when I wrote this, and a lot of the writing is straight up bad, but you still might enjoy it at least just a little.Concluida
My Baby (Sun/Moon x Reader)
Their planet was forgotten--Destroyed, someone had told them. They were taken a very long time ago, taken and held down and beaten to submission. The more time they waste, the worst. One day they'd grow too weak to do anything--one day they wouldn't be able to even stand. Then, their leg broke. Moon thinks they broke more than that. And when they no longer felt it hurt, they knew they had waited too long to do anything. It was already too late. Until it really isn't. (In which you get hit by a car, punch someone in the face, and self-sign yourself as a caretaker to two aliens.)

And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.Concluida
