At the start of this story we meet two 7 year old girls, Piper and Peyton. Piper and Peyton always play in the woods and have a limit of how deep they're allowed in, but today they decided it was a good idea to go deeper into the woods. After Peyton goes missing piper's life never seems to be the same. After 10 years Piper still hasn't been able to move on fully and doesn't really want to get close to anyone else in case she loses them too, but will that all change when she meets Mason Moore? Mason is piper's next door neighbour who is the most popular boy in school and always seems to get what he wants. Mason wants Piper, but Piper doesn't want to get close to anyone. Will Mason get a chance with Piper or will she shut him down?
