Ashlynn and her brother, Ryan, move to California together after graduating high school. Ryan was invited by a friend he had back in middle school. Ashlynn and Ryan go to the party. As soon as Ryan leaves Ashlynn a boy named Jack Bobby Avery comes up to her. After the party they've been talking and meeting up with each other even staying with each other. One night Jack left Ashlynn, the next morning Jack came to the apartment with hickeys. As soon as Ashlynn saw she thought to herself, I thought you loved me.
