For many years, a hybrid named Stargazer has been living in the shadows, afraid what lurks in the light. After being thrown out of both of her kingdoms, she has been trying to befriend anyone who will listen to her. When she meets a friendly dragon named Ash, they will begin to go on a quest to find out who plotted to kill queen Glory. They also will meet a new unexpected ally, who turns out to be an assassin. Will they be able to save their scales from the dragons chasing after them with a bounty on their head, or will they meet certain doom?

No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean.
