Centuries ago, the Tenebris, a mysterious race of obsidian skinned people, opened a portal to Earth and invaded. Shortly after their arrival, the Elders, Faerie, and Mage guilds followed and defended Earth.
Within weeks, the Tenebris were driven back to their world.  Soon after, the Elders had influence in the governments of the world. The Mage guild was forced into hiding by the Elders. The Faerie secluded themselves in uninhabited areas and only communicated with the other races when they needed to trade or were desperate. The Men of Earth mostly went back to their normal lives. Occasionally they revolt against the Elders. 
Over time, the Mage guild began to come out of hiding and those who did joined the Coven, an international community of Warlocks, Witches, Crones, Sages, and all other forms of magic users. Members of the Coven take jobs for the other races, the jobs varying from delivering messages to carrying out assassinations.Tüm hakları saklıdır

I wrote it before I knew about such things as passive voice and POV. I'm editing it now, and it's still a bit of a mess, but I love this story. I just pulled it out of my file and went to work. Centuries have come and gone as the battle between the light and the darkness still rages on, unaware of the human race that creatures live among them and that a battle between them and the guardians has gone on for many years. Present day we find ourselves in a small city named New Haeven that has become the centre of the secret world of light and dark.The current story follows a Guardian by the name of Ronin. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian. The story continues on with Ronin seeking answers from the Elders about how a Guardian could come back from the dead.
