Many of you have probably experienced a lockdown drill.
Few of you may have been in the real thing.
Whether it be because a parent forgot to wear their visitor pass or there's some idiot running rampage with a gun.
One day for Devin Andrews, instead of the fun drills where you got out of 10 minutes of class to hide under the desk and scroll through Instagram, waiting for the Principal to come over the loudspeaker telling teachers to get back to work... The real thing happens.
No one is allowed in. No one is allowed out. No one is safe. We are all at his mercy.
But what if his accomplice is innocent. And he risks his life to save yours. Now he's after you both. And he wants revenge.

The famous singer/songwriter, Elena Matthews, is forced to take a one year leave from her career when her sister's previous school shuts down. Her sister decides she wants to enrol in a public school, something she has never done before, to know what it's like to be a normal high school student. What she doesn't know is that Elena has spent the last two years of her life hiding her worst fear from her family. She has secrets no one knows about, secrets she's been hiding to keep those around her safe. However, what Elena least expects is for her two worlds to collide all because of two boys she meets at school. * * * Elena headed towards the door. She was about to turn the doorknob when his next words froze her in place. "How do you think you'll sister will react if she finds out what you do?" asked Lucas. She slowly turned to face the two with a raised brow, "Meaning?" "Think about it," urged Cole, "How do you think everyone would react if they found out what you do during your spare time, especially your sister." She narrowed her eyes ."Are you blackmailing me?" she asked crossing her arms and raising her chin. "No, I never said that." Cole held up his hands yet grinning mischievously. "We're just saying that it would be in your best interest, along with ours if you joined us." shrugged Lucas. "You can't prove anything," she bluffed. A devious smile speared across Cole's face while Lucas grinned wickedly, "Oh, we both know you don't believe that." ------------------- The events and places are completely fictional along with the characters. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Concluida

Are you mine?
We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints.
