You died. I mean, it happened quite a bit during your lifetime. It wasn't anything different. However, instead of you waking up in the barracks again, you found yourself in a very odd place. Michael also known as "Wolf" (because of a patch he wears on his kit and helmet) is a member of what was the 75th Ranger Regiment. He finds himself a veteran of a war between humanity and anthros. While he doesn't exactly hate them he doesn't exactly trust them either despite their efforts to rebuild the relationship between species. Unfortunately a good chunk of humanity and anthro kind was wiped out due to the war. But due to the anthros ability to reproduce faster they were able to recover much faster leaving humanity at a loss. Michael finds himself alone and on the run from a one of the most dangerous anthro militaries (at least to humans), known as the Obsidian Front. They continue to hunt down and kill humans forces despite the end to the war, causing proxy wars and often large scale skirmishes between them and remaining human militias.

Aris wants that too, more than he's ever wanted anything. He just can't have it. Not when Y/N's still around, reminding him that no matter what happens WCKD will always be there. Whether they know it or not, the marks they left, that she left, cannot be undone. Maybe they could be forgiven though. While they should never be forgotten they should be learned from. So maybe they can learn from each other. Maybe they can learn to love.
