A group of friends get stuck in a "zombie like world" where they have to fight for survival. The virus is like the zombie virus except you go into a coma for about 12-24 hours and awake with weird cravings. You crave meat, then you crave human meat. This leads to you slowly losing your mind until nothing is left except for that desire. You roam the Earth as a "Human Zombie" (still alive but hungry for human flesh) This leads to conflict on wether to kill the infected people or to try and find a cure. What they will soon find out is that this virus is not what it seems.
Trust me it is a lot better than it's description lol.

"Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. The government has a secret, they are the cause of the apocalypse of the dead. They wanted a weapon, something that no one would be able to beat. They created a virus, one that wakes the dead, that creates more like them. But it went wrong. It kills women, and those women infect others. They've found no women that can get past it. All she wants is to keep her friends safe and find somewhere safe they can live, away from the horrors of the world. She travels the continent, trying to find somewhere she can stay. She faces unimaginable threats and has to learn to face her fears, or die at the hands of them. She faces many things and find some things. She faces death and sadness, faces the unthinkable. And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do. Will she find somewhere safe to hide from the government? Or will the government finally catch her? Will she fall to the world of the undead? Will her love survive the apocalypse?
