The Light Within

Is this really happening? Why would I take this risk? Why can't I breathe?
"Because he's good. He isn't like HIM, he would never hurt you. He's the light, the good." A voice answered the questions in my head.
He leaned in, his light-blue eyes holding me in a trance, me unable to break the gaze we held. Something in his eyes flickered, his body growing more tense by the second.

Willow Nirabla, a 15 year-old girl, has learned one important lesson, trust is given and taken, so choose wisely. Growing up with an abusive father, both physically and sexually, has traumatized her. She had no choice but to call Child Services and run away. Being put in foster homes was the opposite of what she wanted, but she was away from HIM. This meant new things... freedom, relief, new beginnings, happiness... or so she thought.

Mason Carnagie, a 17 year-old boy, was the boy who every girl couldn't stay away from. Cliche, right? Well it's the truth, he could never say no, and he was out of control. Also experienced with foster families, his best friend is the new foster brother of Willow.
