Most people don't admit it, but loneliness is one of the scariest things in the world. It's effects are devastating. Exploited for methods involving torture, loneliness results in cases of immense depression and insanity. And it's a changing world. Millions of people are surrounded by billions of others, yet can't help but feel alone.

Elise knows she is alone, but will never give into loneliness. Wherever she goes, whatever she does, she makes sure to avoid that concrete feeling of being eternally alone. She won't give into it, won't face her fear. Her loneliness comes from within. She must learn to overcome it, go against her beliefs and trust herself, venture out into the world and gain confidence. Maybe she will, maybe she won't. Maybe she'll stay comfortable in her shell for the rest of her life or maybe she'll break out and do some things she would never do: change her major, go skydiving, or even fall in love.
