The Rise of Darkness is a story that follows the everlasting battle between the light and the dark. This story focus's on a character named Jake who is chosen by God himself to be what's known as the Trance which is a human given the powers and abilities of an angel. Throughout the story Jake will Encounter many different types of being's as he is trained to be the next Trance and keep grace of God and his Light alive and powerful.
WARNING
The Rise of Darkness follows many factors of both religion and science fiction. This story also holds many religious characters and some events from Christianity, Roman Mythology, Greek Mythology, Celtic Mythology and much more.
Please keep an open mind while reading this book for many points of view on religion and science fiction and many other factors may interact. In this story these factors might contradict each other depending on your view however please understand this story was written in good spirit to bring multiple points of view together in one epic story and NOT written to divide or talk down about any view you may have.

After Liara discovers her boyfriend has been brutally murdered, she retreats to a cabin in the Canadian wilderness with three of her friends in an attempt to get away from humanity. * Jake Matthews was in a near fatal car accident. He somehow woke up to find out he was actually in the afterlife by an accident or an error.
