I strongly believe art isn't supposed to be pretty, or liked and understood by the masses. Art is supposed to make you uncomfortable, it's supposed to boggle your mind and touch your heart.

And this is what I've done. Most of my words aren't pretty. They are the real ugly truths about the things and people around me. The factors that make me who I am.


This is a bringing together of the most intimate tragedies and beauties I've discovered in my mind.

Life is as intense as you want it to be. People in it will bring either tremendous joy or an unbearable pain. She could heal in revenge, hell being her home. But healing through words is the only way of keeping her sanity. Covering the shades of black and white with a thin gray line has never helped anyone before, but painting all those hurtful moments in colors had made the world a better place to live in: resentments under a rug of a smile. Just like a [kodachrome], colorful and vivid in an era filled with sadness. *Mostly fictional with some bases on past, real situations. Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. Somehow it feels like some sort of imaginary relief to my reality. As if, the pain I feel only exists until the words are free.
