Shadow hunter high

Clary and her mom, Jocelyn are in hiding from Valentine, Clary's father. Valentine wants to use Clary for her extraordinary powers due to her having extra angel blood for a shadow hunter. Ever since Clary was 5 years old, Jocelyn has been training Clary to be the best shadow hunter of her generation.

Now 17, Clary is one of the best fighters, Jocelyn has seen. Jocelyn has kept Clary hidden ever since Clary was 2 years old when they realized Valentine was abusive and a horrible person, and has succeeded in hiding Clary from the clave and from Valentine all by herself for 15 years but because Clary is getting stronger, Valentine is getting closer to taking Clary and using her for his own selfish benefits. Jocelyn realizes the risks of all of their options and has made the executive decision to send Clary away to SHH ( shadow hunter high), in Idris, because it is highly guarded and will give Clary the opportunity to make alliances, train more and better with teachers there who will help Clary with her strength more than Jocelyn can anymore.
