Drei Jahre sind vergangen, nachdem der große Friedensvertrag zwischen der Föderation und dem Romulanischen Reich geschlossen worden ist. Drei Jahre, in der A'kebur verborgen von der Welt und geschützt von seiner vulkanischen Familie die Wunden zum Heilen bringen musste, die ihm Tiaren geschlagen hatte. Doch das Versprechen Suahis, dass das Universum auf ihn warten würde, hielt nicht lange.
Es war ein trauriges Ende voller bittersüßer Momente. Borderlands VII hat A'kebur und Tiaren zerrissen und gepeinigt zurückgelassen. Nun sind sie zurück. Drei Jahre später und am Ausgangspunkt der Reise, die sie gemeinsam antraten. Begleitet sie auf eine neue Reise bis an den Anfang einer neuen Zeitrechnung.
