MATURE CONTENT The elderly king of Midowa has died, leaving behind a young widow and his bastard son to maintain the kingdom in his absence. Midowa, a small and relatively new country, has felt the king's departure throughout its very foundations. The wise king's bastard heir, ill-prepared and widely disliked, scrambles to ensure the nation's safety and prosperity. He immediately begins by seeking to make powerful allies as well as considering to expand the nation's borders. The wise king's widow, young and weak both in resolve and identity, scrambles to survive in suddenly turbulent times. Loathed by the bastard king for reasons unknown to her, and removed from the role she had been born and vigorously trained to play, the former queen struggles to find her role in the kingdom. If she cannot appease her stepson's wrath, it could mean her end. After the king's death, the bastard king to-be reaches out to several powerful families, inviting their heirs to his castle, the capital, Midowa Crest. These families come from both within the nation as well as across the seas. Among the powerful families of Midowa that were invited, is the Goldwell Family. A mysterious, but wealthy and powerful noble family that resides within the castle, Goldwell Walls, also known as "The Hive".
