Elek tilted his head in confusion, knitting his eyebrows together and swallowing hard.
"Uh, no, not really sir. They're just stories you tell to children to keep them in bed through the night."
As he finished, Ambrus huffed, amused.
"What if I were to tell you that these creatures did, in fact, exist?"

Elek, a Hungarian nobleman of only eighteen, discovers that his parents have arranged a marriage for him. A marriage based on the financial gain of his family. In retaliation and morose, he decides to live out his last night of freedom by attending the very risqué masquerade parties, that happen nightly at the warehouses by the docks. However, after a fateful encounter with a certain gentlemen named Ambrus, Elek's life gets completely derailed.
