Today marks 15 years since the U.S. Government issued a nationwide evacuation, but the only safe place was underground. They claimed scientists had measured an immense amount of pressure on the sun's surface that posed a serious threat to Earth. The media exploded with different ideas, breaking down what vague warning was given to the public. Some ignored these warnings as others prepared and went underground, such as my mother and I did. We were two of the 33 that were lucky enough to be taken in by the Vinyard's in their bunker they built, however not all were fortunate enough to make it through the 15 long years.
