First Love
I don't think we ever really fall in love again like we did the first time...This is a classic romance story, about family, teenage pregnancy, deception, struggle, wealth and the things money can't buy such as love, forgiveness and a sense of belonging. I hope that when you meet these characters you feel as if they are people you already know, ones you both love and loath. Please get past the first chapter or two where I feel it gets more into the swing of the story. I'ts not a great work of literature, its not a steamy romp I was aiming for warm and funny and real. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! Okay, it's my first time writing on here, although I don't write much but I do read a lot, so I know that most stories center around teenagers and their love life, high school drama, newly weds and their marriage life, etcetera. Well, I'm not gonna apologise for disappointing you guys, Cos I have a feeling this book would do well, and that it wouldn't be a waste of your time.
