Lighting without thunder. Night without day. One without the other would be unnatural. An anomaly. A warning. A battle cry.

Lightning would serve as the warning. If you are in close enough range, you will see the flashes- and inevitably hear the thunder. The closer you are, the louder it gets. One without the other would be an unnatural phenomenon, signalling the apocalypse.

In Harry Potter's sixth year, he was sent back in time to Tom Riddle's sixth year to try and help him see the light before he ventured too far into darkness. But what if the plans stray a little bit too far from the omniscient eyes?

Shadows In The Dungeon: Harry Potter

26 parts Ongoing

During Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts, as whispers of Voldemort's return grow louder and Dumbledore begins to unravel the secrets of the Dark Lord's past, a new student arrives under a cloud of mystery. Eirdis Lunette-expelled from Durmstrang for dangerous spellwork and a disregard for rules-is sorted into Slytherin, where she quickly becomes a curiosity, a threat, and an enigma to the student body. Fiercely independent, Eirdis doesn't care for house rivalries or bloodlines, and her unexpected friendship with Harry, Hermione, and Ron raises eyebrows and tensions alike-especially with Draco Malfoy, whose contempt for her is matched only by a volatile, magnetic tension neither of them can explain. As danger mounts inside and outside the castle, Eirdis is forced to confront the past she left behind, the secrets she's hiding, and the darkness that Hogwarts itself is beginning to awaken. In a school divided by fear, one girl may tip the scales between loyalty and betrayal, light and shadow. Magic is power-but trust is everything.
