In Esper City there are certain categories that you fit into. If you're 100% human, then you go to a human school. If you're an alien, you go to an alien school. Now, if you are in between the two, you're called an Esper, you are hidden. No, the government did not experiment on you, and aliens did not abduct you to reproduce. An Esper is just naturally born as an Esper. A human is born with psychic abilities, but as they grow older, those abilities vanish. Espers, on the other hand, their powers grow. They grow until they can control any type of element. Here's the catch, though; there are only ten Espers in the world. They all go by rank, meaning number 10 is the weakest of the bunch, and number 1 is the strongest. Humans and aliens combined don't have the power to go up against any Esper.
You're probably thinking, 'Well, I bet these three don't get along much!' Guess what? You are correct. They don't get along at all. Whenever two of the three groups cross each other, the riot police always turn up. That's why Esper City made a school program called 'Whispering Angels'. 75 humans and 75 aliens have to go to one high school for an integration program. The only thing that these kids don't know is that among their small groups are 3 Espers. Will these teenagers be able to prove that all kinds can live together in peace, or will they prove that this world cannot be shared?
This project has to be successful, because the one thing that the people don't know is that a war is coming. A war with an unknown force will devour them if they don't work together.
