she's a hipster & nerd who is always either bingeing netflix, hanging with her 2 best friends, or has her nose in a book, her camera always hanging around her neck.
he's the same, in some ways.
the boy in the corner always listening to music, hanging with his best friend, reading the latest book he's picked up... and he always has that damn camera with him.
they've seen each other but never acknowledged each other.
until they got their orders mixed up.
it's a weird story of how these two became acquaintances, then friends, then something more.

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" This is a short story about a band-obsessed outcasted teen and the handsome barista of the new café. (Cliché, i know. But pfff) Gabe is around his two best and only friends almost all of the time. The people in school make fun of him because they don't think he's 'cool enough'. But Gabe ignores them as good as he can. When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes. The barista seems pretty interested but Gabe is too scared he will only make fun of him like the others. I look up and give him the fakest smile i can put on "did my constant harasser also become my stalker?" i said referring to him saying my name before looking back at my computer. He sat down next to me. I was sincerely praying he was grabbing his stuff to go so i wouldn't have another interaction with him, but of course not. His friend left and he came back and sat by me. "I'm trying to do homework can you please go somewhere else" i said in a heavily annoyed tone. "See i would, but one i think you like me too much to actually want me to leave" he said before i cut him off "i don't" he laughed before continuing "this next part is really gonna suck then" he said pausing obviously waiting for a reaction out of me which i don't give him. "fine. you're no fun. we have to schedule our tutoring times" he said before nudging me "i'm your first student to tutor surprise!" he said in a tone that i can only describe as annoying because that's all he is, is annoying. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late.
