Together they meet a little girl named Olivia who is looking for Basil to help look for her missing father. When they find out that Ratigan is behind it, she immediately wants to help Basil in taking down Ratigan and find Olivia's father since Ratigan is the reason that her parents went missing. And along the way, maybe she will open up to...... love? 

(I'm sorry! I couldn't help but make a story for The Great Mouse Detective. Ever since I watched it I've been in love with this movie. Anyway, I don't own anything except my OC)
