Newt is suffering in the Glade, he's overwhelmed with everything that they are put through and being in the dark about it all is unbearable. He feels like he won't be able to cope with any of it anymore, and even tries to end it all. But all changes when Thomas arrives. He feels drawn toward that Greenie for some reason. Thomas will make him feel stronger; together they will find a way out of the Maze, through the Scorch and toward a Cure. A/N: I'll stick with the cannon (mostly book cannon all along the most of the trilogy, but following the cure arc of the movie), making time jumps to moments along the trilogy adding the romance between the two. Newt fanfiction based off the Maze Runner book. I decided to walk through basically the whole book and add in another girl. Some parts and some of the timeline I had to change so it makes more sense but the basics are still there same so it's okay. If you didn't read the book, some parts might be confusing, just a PSA. Maze Runner: The Death Cure (Fan Fiction) Newt X Casey
This is the last book in the Maze Runner trilogy. Newt, Casey, Thomas, Brenda, and Frypan have escaped the Glade and the Scorch. Now they just have one thing left to do; rescue Minho and take down WCKD. The storyline of this book has been altered slightly in some parts to fit Casey's character into the plot, there are also some new scenes that weren't originally in the story, since Thomas is not the main character. The main characters in this story are Newt and Casey. It is written in first person, and the point of view switches between Newt and Casey. This book is only inspired from the series Maze Runner.
